9 / 39 - score 59%
The Tartan 37 hood is a 37.0ft masthead yawl designed by Ted Hood and built in fiberglass by Tartan Marine since 1965.
The Tartan 37 hood is a heavy sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is not stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a bluewater cruising boat. There is a short water supply range.
This boat has an average score but ranks in the top quarter. It seems difficult to do much better. It is one of the best possible tradeoff for this request.
